 Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | Serve as Academic Advisor to student-athletes. Provide academic advising, planning, and other support for student-athletes in areas of course selection, registration procedures, degree requirements, and career goals. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Academics and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Academics.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials   
Preferred Qualifications  | Collegiate experience is strongly preferred; experience with student-athletes is highly desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with students, professors, peers and parents. Ability to prioritize work tasks and handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently. Ability to work with culturally diverse students.
