UNC Charlotte is hiring an Academic Advisor to serve undergraduate and graduate students in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, and Applied Energy and Electromechanical Engineering programs. The advisor implements a developmental advising model, guides students through academic progress and graduation requirements, collaborates with faculty, provides orientation and support services, and manages academic reporting and degree clearance.

- Collaborate with faculty to deliver additional information, services, and programming to students.
- Generate reports on academic progression and manage degree clearance for undergraduates.
- Require a master's degree in academic advising, student services, higher education, engineering, or related field.
- Require a minimum of two years of experience in academic advising in higher education.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; preferred familiarity with BANNER, Ellucian, Navigate 360, and DegreeWorks.
- Salary range is $55,000 to $57,680 annually.
- Position is full-time, exempt status, working 40 hours per week with occasional evenings and weekends.
