Job Summary 
The Medical Education Academic Advisor supports medical student success by providing personalized academic advising through scheduled meetings, walk-ins, phone, and email communication.This role focuses on academic success, retention, and timely graduation by offering individual and group guidance on study skills, time management, organization, exam preparation, and test-taking strategies.The advisor collaborates with course directors and curriculum staff to monitor student performance, identify at-risk learners, and implement targeted interventions aligned with coursework and licensing exam expectations.Additionally, the advisor develops and delivers academic support strategies through various channels, including workshops, newsletters, class presentations, and web-based resources.The position oversees the peer coaching and tutoring system across all UK College of Medicine campuses, including tracking utilization, training, and mentoring of student support staff.The advisor also organizes academic initiatives and events that align with key milestones during the pre-clinical and clinical years.
