POSITION SPECIFICS
The Eberly College of Science Department of Biology is seeking an Academic Program Coordinator - Intermediate Support  to support the administrative and operational functions of the Academic Advising Office and assist the Director of the Biology Advising, advisors, faculty at large, and undergraduate Biology students.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Setting up class schedules and events for upcoming semesters.
  • Maintaining student records.
  • Providing information to students, parents, faculty, and staff.​
Experience with LionPath, the Optimizer, and 25 Live is strongly preferred in assisting with:
  • Drop/adds.
  • Scheduling courses, rooms, and events.
  • Adviser assignments.
  • Adjusting academic requirement reports.
  • Performing graduation checks and clearances.
  • Processing ETM (Entrance to Major requests).
  • Monitoring weekly course enrollments.
  • Enrolling into the BIOL and Marine Science minors.
  • Setting up course controls, and setting up SEEQs for all Biology classes.
  • Scheduling final exams for all Biology classes.
  • Scheduling student rating surveys. Other duties include running LionPath reports and maintaining statistical records; keeping forms and advising materials up to date; sending out mass e-mails to students; ordering supplies as necessary; answering phones, participating in meetings as required; assisting in organizing ODS (Office of Disability Services) accommodations; assisting with NSO (New Student Orientation).

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $38,300.00 - $55,500.00.
