Job Summary
This position is a fully competent and productive professional contributor who will independently set objectives, administer, and perform moderately complex registrar operations work supporting the full lifecycle of the academic record, including the degree clearance, awarding process, and post-completion record maintenance. Apply university policies and professional judgment to resolve a range of issues, ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the Degree Ops system. Serve as a functional owner of the Candidate Clearance workflow tool, supporting its use, documentation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with campus partners to resolve discrepancies, support data integrity, and strengthen operational effectiveness through analysis, documentation, and process improvement.

Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with academic records, student information systems, or large moderately complex files and data structures. 
 
Skills Needed:
  • Ability to interpret and apply university regulations, policies, as well as state/federal laws.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Ability to work with reports, queries and data sets to identify errors, trends and inconsistencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with student information systems and workflow tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Ability to build effective working relationships with academic partners.
 
What is helpful :
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in a registrar’s office or in a similar role in a post-secondary institution.
