This role coordinates undergraduate and graduate programs by managing course scheduling, assisting advisors with registration, corresponding with students, and supporting faculty and the director with reporting, search management, and liaison duties across campus offices.
Highlights
Provide administrative support to director, faculty, staff, and students including fiscal management and scheduling.
Serve as primary coordinator for graduate students, handling correspondence, offer letters, and graduate office interactions.
Plan and coordinate special events such as advisory board meetings, ABET visits, retreats, and thesis defenses.
Manage department calendars, course schedules, room reservations, and textbook orders.
Assist students with program inquiries and coordinate graduate school applications as liaison with the Graduate School.
Hire, train, and supervise student front office employees.
Required skills include program coordination, advising experience, complex scheduling, and proficiency in office software tools.
Must demonstrate ability to improve processes, multitask under deadlines, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Salary starts at $21.99 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Position reports to the Gianforte School of Computing in the Division of Student Success, classified appointment, full-time with benefits eligibility.
