Job SummaryThe Academic and Student Support Specialist will provide essential support for dual credit, competency-based education (CBE), pathways, and transfer. Main duties will include performing routine tasks, maintaining records and databases, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day processes. This position will support the head of the unit and several system-wide initiatives.

Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.
Job Duties:Will provide support for dual credit, including managing course information in PeopleSoft, assisting college staff with scholarship reconciliation, routing and resolving tickets related to dual credit, and serving as the point of contact for Dual Enroll management.

Manage the transfer pathway inventory management, webpage, and SharePoint site content, and the transfer newsletter.

Assist with the logistics and implementation of CBE to help with systemwide implementation and scaling efforts. Includes updating resource documents, the SharePoint site, and assisting in creating materials with the CBE Ambassadors.

Assist with scheduling, communications, coordination of team activities, and related documentation.

Attend meetings, take notes, track action items and follow-up tasks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and documentation, and prepare routine reports and summaries as requested.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies or opportunities to enhance processes.
Minimum Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Higher Education, Technical Education and/or Workforce Development, Leadership, Project Management, Curriculum Design, Adult Learning and six (6) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Higher Education, Technical Education and/or Workforce Development, Leadership, Project Management, Curriculum Design, Adult Learning and seven (7) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
