Work Schedule:
Flexible hours, up to 15/week. Tutoring Center is open 9 am – 8pm Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Friday, 9 am – 1 pm Saturday.

Job Summary:
Provide drop-in, private, or online tutoring as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in the subject in which the person will tutor.
- Must be responsible, independent workers who maintain an on-time commitment.
- Must possess sensitivity to the needs of disadvantaged/at-risk students.
- Must possess sensitivity for students of all cultures and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, how to tutor students with disabilities.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Previous teaching experience preferred, especially with high school or college level students.
Essential Duties:
- Provide drop-in, private, or online tutoring as assigned.
- Reinforce classroom instruction, encourage academic progress, and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning. Maintain confidentiality regarding the students they serve.
- Maintain student records, timesheets, and other paperwork.
- Attend department meetings and training sessions. Participate in discussions regarding ways to better serve students.
- Refer students to the Associate Dean of Academic Support Services, if appropriate.
