Job Description 
Germanna Community College is a public, open access institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System. Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. Germanna Community College is seeking a Part Time Test Proctor to administer a large number of tests including written tests, performance exams, and online tests.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support by creating professional and courteous correspondences between test vendors, examinees, faculty, staff, and students Generates daily reports; research student records; enters research data in Excel; completes daily task reports Administers proctoring service for academic tests and provides proctoring for placement tests Provides excellent customer service and provides requested information or refers to the appropriate department Ensures all computers have appropriate software for each test Perform other duties as assigned
Special Assignments  | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications  | Customer service experience in a high-volume environment with an ability to handle stressful situations Excellent organization and prioritization skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent computer skills; intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365 Must be able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Ability to learn applications quickly Ability to work mornings, evenings and Saturdays Complete certifications within 30 days of hire date
