The University of Alabama is hiring an ACCESS Teacher - Mathematics for the 2026-2027 academic year in a temporary part-time role. The teacher will provide web-based instruction to Alabama high school students, monitor student progress, communicate with facilitators and students, and utilize a learning management system to deliver lessons and assess student work.

Deliver web-based math instruction to Alabama high school students via a learning management system.
Maintain daily login and regular communication with students and facilitators regarding progress and course activities.

Must have a Bachelor's degree and Alabama State Department of Education teaching certification.
Residency within Alabama is required.
Proficiency with learning management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet skills.
Must pass state-required background and fingerprint check for virtual teaching.
Experience teaching grades 6-12 in Alabama or higher education faculty credentials accepted.
Preferred candidates have 3+ years teaching experience or professional development in digital instruction.
