To support our growing operations, we are hiring an Account Editor who will play a key role in establishing and maintaining customer accounts and will operate within a general office environment, including remote work.


How are you creating an impact?

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer accounts within Oracle Production, validating customer information, and determining the appropriate account type for each customer. You will also maintain key account attributes such as party relationships, and support tax maintenance and other special projects. Working closely with Customer Service, Business Unit contacts, and Trade Credit, you will help ensure customer accounts are set up accurately and efficiently.

This is a contract role for a duration of 1 year.


What will you be doing?

  • Locate, create, and maintain new and existing customer accounts utilizing Oracle
  • Conduct validation research using resources including the internet, phone, email, and other reference tools
  • Partner with Customer Service, Business Unit contacts, and Trade Credit to resolve customer set-up concerns
  • Maintain party relationships for main and sub-accounts
  • Update tax status on accounts based on documentation provided by customers
  • Utilize Oracle order entry screens to update customer sales orders as necessary to book orders
  • Stay current with departmental best practices and business rules for account classification usage
  • Support special projects as assigned

We are looking for someone having:

  • 1+ years of experience in a related field
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently to identify and resolve issues accurately
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand party relationships within the Oracle account hierarchy and recommend alternate solutions based on business unit requests
  • 1-3 years of MHE experience preferred
