From English learners, multilingual students, bilingual students and dual language learners who are struggling to read or write, Summit K12’s online, standards-based supplemental curriculum will close gaps and ensure growth for all students.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive  serves as a key member of a collaborative team and is responsible for expanding market share by developing opportunities with small to mid-size schools and districts. As a primary contact for prospects and current partners, the Account Executive is an instrumental team member working collaboratively to meet sales targets and annual revenue goals. This will include the execution of sales campaigns by prospecting, developing opportunities, and preparing and delivering sales demonstrations.

LOCATION: 
This position is fully remote; however, candidates must live in the state of California, as this role supports the California territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Engage in all facets of the sales process.
  2. Assist with sales projects and campaign activities.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns to District Administrators, School Administrators, and Teachers.
  4. Meet weekly KPIs to support a rapid growth environment.
  5. Assist with territory lead generation, qualification, and opportunity creation.
  6. Engage in a variety of Outreach Strategies (Cold Calls, Emails, etc.)
  7. Deliver virtual and in-person webinars regarding product introductions and demonstrations that explain product offerings.
  8. Deliver and participate in virtual and in-person conferences.
  9. Creation of budgetary proposals.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. 1-2 years of direct sales experience, telesales, subscription-based K-12 curriculum to public schools and districts.
  2. Consistently exceed annual sales goals and often the top producer.
  3. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales performance tools.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate professionally, persuasively, and confidently in person, phone, and email.
  5. Confidence in collaborating and partnering with Senior-level district administrators includes C&I Directors, Assistant Superintendents, Bilingual Directors, Curriculum Coordinators, as well as principals at all levels.
  6. Be the expert in content and data to build presentations that highlight Summit K12s unique value propositions.
  7. Ability to work independently with a strong and disciplined work ethics.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments, functions, and cultures.
  9. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  10. Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills.

ADVANCED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Education preferred, Business or similar industry.
  2. 5+ years of K-12 teaching and leadership experience preferred, leading to demonstrable results for teachers.
  3. Strong relationships with Senior School and District administrators.
  4. Background working with an extremely high-growth (50%-100% annual growth) online educational business.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 annually

Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, your experience, skills, and qualifications.
