Grand Canyon University! One of Arizona's leading institutions of higher learning. Located in the Valley of the Sun in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, GCU is a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University.

Grand Canyon University is currently in search of a skilled Account Executive for GCU Sponsorships who can sell innovative corporate sponsorship packages in combination with local radio, television, print, and digital media. We need candidates who excel at addressing marketing challenges, crafting, and conveying imaginative proposals to clients, and successfully accomplishing client revenue and objectives.

What you will do: 
  • Research and identify new prospects and partners for targeted events and programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brand decision makers and advertising agencies
  • Develop, create, and sell sponsorship and marketing solutions that exceed the needs of the client
  • Secure and conduct face-to-face sales meetings by leveraging relationships as well as through cold calling
  • Negotiate and close sponsorship deals and work with management through contract execution
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need: 
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1-2 years of successful and creative sponsorship/advertising/media sales experience
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
