The Account Manager for the K-12 division will manage and support a designated territory and customer base to attain and surpass quota by strategically working any given sales orientated task as directed by management.

 

This is a remote position with up to 50% of travel time required. The ideal candidate should be based in the local Michigan or Indiana regions. Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Attains and surpasses sales goals with the proven ability to advance sales and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration.
  • Travels to local customers weekly with some overnight travel.  
  • Develops and maintains customer profiles, builds new contacts/customers, and identifies and influences customer needs.
  • Communicates internally and externally to influence sales.
  • Performs targeted customer outreach by phone and email to build and maintain pipeline.
  • Creates and executes strategic territory plans with organization and follow through.
  • Prioritizes customer base and ensure availability, visibility, and promotional activity with respect to that base. 

 

We're looking for someone with: 

  • 3 years of sales experience
  • Background as an educator is preferred
  • Ability to communicate product value and build customer relationships
  • Proficiency in sales software and platforms and MS Suite
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in business or education

The pay range for this position is between $60,000 - $70,000 USD annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
