Account Manager - DLE
The Director of Legal Education (DLE) is, in many ways, the face of BARBRI bar review. They are at the center of Law School success. Successful DLEs enjoy leading and motivating student ambassadors, exhibit true attention to detail, thrive in a competitive environment, and have a passion for helping students succeed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide extraordinary service to Law School administration, Academic Support, Deans, Faculty, and enrolled students, by managing the entire account:
- Be well known as a primary source of knowledge about bar exams
- Respond promptly and accurately to questions and requests
- Develop relationships with and serve as a resource to law school faculty and administration
- Deliver educational presentations/workshops designed to help the Law School and students succeed
- Primary contact for all BARBRI products at the Law School
Identify, target, and enroll students based on strategic plan objectives:
- Actively work with the student ambassadors to know the status of every student and act accordingly
- Demonstrate the benefits and features of BARBRI
- Assist with all aspects of Bar Review Sales, with focus on closure of sales
Lead student sales ambassador teams:
- Identify motivated students to be a part of the extended/on-campus BARBRI sales team
- Train all Student Ambassadors on what our brand and the bar exam are about, how to talk about BARBRI and our products, how to engage students, etc.
- Train the Student Ambassadors on how to use our CRM system
- Work with the Student Ambassadors to ensure that promotional events are successful
- Manage Student Ambassadors by holding them accountable for activity, outreach, and enrollments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be willing to travel to assigned law schools - as permitted by the school
- Proven persuasive and educational presentation and speaking skills
- Must have experience creating account strategies and executing according to plan
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability and interest in learning new technologies
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a JD would be a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience selling in a fast-paced, competitive environment is a plus
- Experience in B2B consultative selling in educational institutions is a plus
- 1-2 years of management experience, preferably in a sales role would be preferred
