About the Role:

The Account Manager at Abre is responsible for renewing and expanding existing accounts, cultivating strategic partnerships, and ensuring client success. Your primary focus will be on retaining and growing accounts by building deep, strategic partnerships with district leaders and maximizing business opportunities. This is a highly visible role where you will be an advocate for our customers while also working to meet and exceed revenue targets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage a portfolio of Enterprise & SMD accounts ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services that align with client needs. 
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual targets for renewal and expansion revenue.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite and district leaders understanding their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular Executive Business Reviews to demonstrate the value of Abre and identify new opportunities.
  • Work proactively to mitigate and resolve client issues and concerns promptly, escalating where appropriate to maintain client trust. 
  • Accurately forecast deals and manage your pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Client Success, Marketing, and Product, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Represent Abre at client sites, conferences, and industry events (travel up to 30%).
  • Contribute to building a positive team culture where people want to work and thrive.
  • Create and deliver custom proposals aligned to district needs analysis.

Who You Are

You are a strategic, relationship-focused professional with a passion for education. You thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and are a true team player. You have:

  • 2+ years of successful account management/customer success or account executive experience in the K-12 market, with a strong understanding of school districts and their unique needs.
  • The ability to build rapport, outline a buying vision, challenge the status quo, and position Abre as a strategic partner.
  • A data-driven mindset, capable of leveraging insights to drive your strategies and sales.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a highly energetic approach.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to support customer interactions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce CRM and Gainsight. 
  • The ability to work together with colleagues from other departments to improve efficiency and overall client experience.
