Kansas State University is hiring an Accounting Specialist. The role manages all aspects of accounts receivable for the Veterinary Health Center, including evaluating client accounts, processing payments, reconciling cash drawers, and resolving payment issues in collaboration with the business manager.

Manage accounts receivable and client payment processing for the Veterinary Health Center.
Perform cashier duties such as accepting payments (cash, credit, check, CareCredit) and reconciling cash drawers.
Communicate sensitively with clients regarding unplanned medical expenses and payment options.
Work with the business manager to resolve client payment problems and credit issues.
Monitor and address nonpayment, delayed payments, and other account irregularities.
Assist with monthly invoicing, statements, and follow-up on past due balances.
Required minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications: bachelor's degree in business or related field and 2-3 years cashiering or accounts receivable experience.
Pay range from $14.54 to $21.38 per hour.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and reside in the U.S. at the start of employment.
