| Posting Context Statement | As a member of the Student Accounts team, the Accounting Specialist II supports cashiering, deposit processing, and accounts receivable functions with a strong focus on accuracy and internal controls. Reporting to the Assistant Accounting Manager, this role processes and reconciles daily transactions, including cash, check, electronic payments, and domestic and international wires. The position ensures compliance with university, state, and federal regulations, supports audit readiness, and resolves discrepancies. This role collaborates with campus partners and provides high-level customer service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. |
| Position Overview | The Accounting Specialist II performs a variety of accounting activities that range in level of complexity from clerical accounting duties such as managing receivables and payables, to more complex duties such as reconciling accounts and resolving accounting problems.
