Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Associate Director of Operations, Salary: $57,779 – $72,224 per year, USCA Admissions
The Associate Director of Operations manages technological aspects of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system utilization and training. Supervises admissions processors in the Office of Admissions and provides training to university personnel on CRM usage. Oversees the application process for first- time freshmen, transfer students, graduate students, and assists students gaining readmission to the University. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of enterprise systems (ideally Ellucian), university specific or corporate CRM’s, and various Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, and ability to balance priorities. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and public presentation skills. Ability to build relationships with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Master’s degree. Professional experience in university admissions office, recruiting students, utilizing/managing CRM systems, supervision of professional admissions staff, coordinating of communication plans. Job Duties
Job Duty | Manages the Slate CRM system overseeing the end-to-end application processing workflow, including receipt, review, and completion of applicant files as well as the data transfer to Student Information System (Banner). Works on creating streamlined processes to help increase the efficiency and accuracy of applications.

Delegate tasks and monitor progress to ensure goals are met. Collaborate with directors and associate directors on admissions strategy and enrollment management.

Percentage of Time | 20Job Duty | Serve as the Slate system administrator, overseeing database setup, maintenance, and updates. Work to find ways to streamline and improve the information feed between the two systems (Slate and Banner). Work with upper management to define update and maintenance strategy. Will offer training of the system to new and continuing members of the Office of Admissions and university staff as needed.
