Job Summary
As a member of the Student Success Business Office’s leadership team, this position is actively engaged in strategic forecasting and support of ongoing initiatives to support International Center operations and assigned Student Success units. Leads a team of financial staff to achieve the effective and efficient operation of Student Success business operations and compliance with University-mandated internal controls. Works with Senior Business and Area Fiscal Officers on matters concerning internal controls, fiscal operations, and department outreach. This position demands critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to shared governance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a commitment to professional ethics, and a strong analytic background are key to success in this position.

Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision-making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities  | Accounting proficiency; Advanced budgeting approaches; Strong analytical abilities; Knowledge of University budgeting and financial reporting systems (SAP, Concur, Tableau, HANA, etc.), advanced software knowledge (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & Power Point), interpersonal relations, strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management.
