POSITION SPECIFICS
The Pennsylvania State University, Residence Life, is seeking a candidate for an Administrative Support Assistant to serve as the first point of contact in person and via phone, maintain confidential information, and coordinate the needs of the unit across the Commonwealth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Greet customers, provide information, and refer them as appropriate.
  • Screen and process routine telephone communications, mail, and requests.
  • Schedule and maintain a calendar of appointments, meetings, travel itineraries, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain budget, process financial transactions, track expenditures
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, make reservations, and process reimbursements.
  • Maintain files and databases; assemble and format data to create simple reports.
  • Prepare documents, meeting materials, and correspondence.
  • Update and make routine changes to web pages.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information and materials.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Compose and edit written communication.
  • Maintain inventory and order or purchase office supplies.
