Administrator - Arts & Science Dean's Office Full Description

Position Summary: 
Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Administrator to join the Arts & Science Office of the Dean. This individual will support the coordination of operations and administrative functions as a key team member. This includes serving as the administrative liaison of the Arts & Science faculty committee elections, assisting with all annual meetings, events sponsored by the Dean’s office, and project management at the direction of the Dean and Executive Assistant. 

Qualifications: 
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience developing and implementing programs, projects, and special events; budget administration; and staff supervision.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels both verbally and in writing. Working knowledge of word processing; strong knowledge of spreadsheet/database software. Additional Information: 
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
