The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring an Admissions Coordinator. The role involves serving as the first point of contact for admissions, coordinating and attending recruitment events, providing admissions counseling to prospective students, and supporting enrollment activities through outreach to applicants and admitted students.
Highlights
- Serve as one of two Admissions Coordinators reporting to the Director for Admissions and Recruitment in the Office of Student Affairs.
- Coordinate and attend recruitment and yield events, representing the School of Nursing to prospective students.
- Provide admissions counseling and outreach to prospective students, in-progress applicants, and admitted students to support enrollment.
- Utilize admissions technology and related software proficiently.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience from accredited institutions.
- Experience in college or university admissions preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Position is full-time, permanent with a salary range of $43,941-$54,745 and work hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening, weekend, and overnight travel.
- Works within the School of Nursing’s Office of Student Affairs, supporting admissions, enrolled student services, and community engagement.
- This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority and requires compliance with related reporting responsibilities.
