Job Summary  | Responsible for recruiting prospective law students.

Responsibilities 
1. Coordinates S.J. Quinney College of Law information sessions, admission programming, and provides guidance throughout the admissions process.
2. Takes part in national and regional recruitment by developing and maintaining relationships with and providing service to prelaw advisors and attending law school information fairs
3. Makes necessary travel arrangements and submits requisite documentation prior to and after the completion of recruitment travel.
4. Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of the outreach recruitment plan.
5. Engages in law student volunteer recruitment efforts for the Office of Admissions in support of programming.
6. Participates in office recruitment activities and admissions events including some evenings and weekends.
7. Conducts group presentations and building tours.
8. Assists prospective students with information gathering and navigating the various law school application platforms, processes, and internal and external departments.
9. Provides follow-up correspondence and individual counseling to prospective students via in-person meetings, e-mail, telephone, and mail.
10. Leads JD application interviews.
11. Reviews and renders decisions on law school admissions applications.
12. Provides support and ongoing training to the law admissions ambassadors.
13. Regular use of LSAC’s Unite platform for file review, communication distribution, and importing and exporting data.

Minimum Qualifications  | Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ related experience, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).

Preferences  | Juris Doctorate degree (JD) or Master’s degree preferred. Familiarity with LSAC’s Unite platform. This position may include duties involving travel to in-state and out-of-state locations, working evenings and weekends.
