One responsibility of being an adult student recruiter is to meet adult learners where they are while maintaining a focus on building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, employers, and other external partners to support enrollment growth and workforce development initiatives. The role will guide primarily non-traditional students through the admissions and enrollment process by providing information on admissions requirements, academic programs, and student support services through in-person, phone, email, and virtual communication. This position will also include teaching Introduction to College (GEN 100) courses in area high schools. Strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills are essential to ensuring a positive and efficient student enrollment experience.

Job Duties:
• Recruit, register, and enroll non-traditional students to include guiding individuals through the application process and next steps.
• Teach GEN100 in the area high schools or its equivalent.
• Support the development of recruitment campaigns, to include scheduling events, coordinating logistics, and managing outreach efforts to prospective students.
• Be instrumental in planning and/or attending college and community events..
• Call and email with applicants daily to help them through the enrollment process.
• Work closely with other members of the recruitment and admissions team to align recruitment strategies with the institution's enrollment goals.
• Aid potential and current students by answering questions regarding programs and the requirements of each.
• Professional development training.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor Degree
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:Great customer service is a must! Strong written and verbal communication for presenting information to prospective students and partners (internal and external). Public speaking abilities for high school visits, college fairs, and planning and organizational skills are preferred along with active listening skills to understand student needs and concerns.
