The primary purpose of this position is to recruit students, assist with reviewing and processing admissions applications, provide campus tours/student interviews and participate in special events for student recruitment.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
A valid driver’s license are required.


Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience.. Prefer knowledge of USC Upstate campus and programs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
A successful background check and a good driving record is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organized and detail oriented with dependable follow-through. Must be able to interact and build relationships with representatives of community as well as faculty and staff at USC Upstate locations.

Travel to assigned territories for freshman recruitment to establish new and foster existing relationships with guidance counselors and career development facilitators to grow enrollment. Target identified students in specific majors to drive toward enrollment goals.
