Position Summary
The Admissions and Financial Aid Assistant works collaboratively with the Admissions and Financial Aid offices to provide support to new inquiries and scholarship recipients. In compliance with FERPA and Title IV requirements, the assistant uses the Student Information System (Banner), Salesforce CRM, and other communication tools to provide timely, professional outreach to prospective students and scholarship applicants.

Primary Responsibilities
· Utilize Salesforce CRM to review, manage, and document prospective student inquiries and communication activities.
· Contact prospective students by telephone, email, and text messaging to provide information, answer general questions, and encourage continued engagement with the college.
· Conduct timely follow-up with prospective students based on established recruitment and communication plans.
· Accurately document all student contacts, responses, and outcomes in Salesforce.
· Assist with reports by evaluating outreach efforts, tracking response and success rates, and identifying trends in student engagement.
· Provide general support to the Admissions Office and assist with recruitment activities, campus events, and other college-sponsored programs as needed.
· Perform other related duties that support the recruitment and enrollment goals of the college.
· Provide general support to the Financial Aid Office by managing front desk operations.
· Assist the Office of Financial Aid in compiling information from scholarship applications and new student information from CRM.
· Maintain accurate and organized records of scholarship recipients, award amounts, and renewal status based on decisions made by the scholarship committee.
· Verify student enrollment of scholarship recipients for relevant terms and track the submission of required scholarship documents of scholarship recipients.
· Respond to inquiries about scholarship opportunities, requirements, and application status.
· Work closely with the Office of Financial Aid and the scholarship committee.
· Prepare summary reports for the Office of Financial Aid, scholarship committee, and the Development Coordinator.
· Attend scholarship committee meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and no prior work experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and effectively use Salesforce CRM and other technology platforms.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and follow established procedures.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with students, prospective students, and families.
· Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, student-centered environment.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle student information.

Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in college admissions, recruitment, customer service, sales, call center operations, record-keeping, or related field.
· Experience using Salesforce or another customer relationship management (CRM) system.
· Experience using a Student Information System, such as Banner.
· Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel and Outlook.
· Familiarity with higher education enrollment, recruitment processes, and the maintenance of financial aid records.

Work Schedule
Full-time weekly work schedule focused primarily on CRM operations, the management of leads and inquiries, and maintaining and tracking accurate scholarship information.
