Our team: The Sales team plays a critical role in driving customer engagement and revenue growth across Pearson's portfolio. We work collaboratively across territories and functions to support educators, institutions, and learners by connecting them with the right learning solutions at the right time.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Advanced Associate,Inside Sales to join our Sales team.

In this role, you will support sales efforts by autonomously managing assigned task queues, conducting targeted customer outreach, and providing detailed information on straightforward product offerings. You will participate in team calls, support follow-up activities for active opportunities, and confidently manage well-defined segments of the sales pipeline.

This position offers a strong development opportunity: you will continue building your ability to influence deals through growing product knowledge, structured feedback, and close collaboration with more senior colleagues. While your autonomy will increase over time, more complex issues and escalations will be supported by managers or experienced peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality and timely outbound and inbound sales activities.

  • Consistently follow approved talk tracks and sales processes.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of task execution and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) updates.

  • Minimize dropped leads through disciplined pipeline management and timely follow-ups.

  • Support smooth handoffs and transitions across sales process stages.

  • Rapidly incorporate feedback and demonstrate continuous improvement by reducing repeat errors.

  • Proactively engage customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to generate and qualify leads.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate Pearson products and services.

  • Monitor product usage and adoption signals to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Territory Managers, Account Executives, Sales Reps, and cross-functional teams to enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Provide product information, demonstrations, and basic enablement support to drive solution adoption.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field preferred; relevant professional experience may substitute.

  • Proven experience in inside sales, sales support, outbound calling, or customer engagement roles.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated relationship-building and consultative selling skills.

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to results.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools (MS Office, Teams, Zoom).
