GENERAL DESCRIPTION  | To aid in the fulfillment of the CPS Project contract. The CPS Advanced Placement Examiner is responsible for accurate testing of CPS students and first-line quality assurance checks.

COMMUNICATIONS 
• The Examiner administers the test verbally according to protocol
• If the Examiner encounters a problem with a child, he/she should use best discretion in either resolving the situation or alerting the CPS Testing Supervisor. Additionally, all problems must be promptly reported to the main office by filling out a Test Incident form and submitting it to the Supervisor.

Qualifications 
Education & Experience 
• Enrollment in a graduate level Clinical Psychology program preferred, but not required
• Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or related field (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills  | Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written language skills to administer test and address and report on any issues that arise.
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY  | Non-supervisory position.

No budgetary authority.
Physical Environment and Requirements  | Testing and reports will be done off university grounds.

Must be able to remain seated for long periods of time. 90-100% of the time.

Must be able to walk/stand when escorting child and/or addressing issues that arise. 0-10% of the time.

 Key Responsibilities 
Key Responsibility  | The Examiner (and administrative staff) set up rooms, make sure all materials needed for testing have been provided and that the proper test is administered to the student, administers the test according to protocol, completes all aspects of the test booklet with accurate information and scoring of responses, uses discretion in either resolving any problems encountered or alerting the CPS Testing Supervisor, and is responsible for quality assurance related to the testing materials. The Examiner may also need to refill supplies throughout the day.
