Job Title : Advanced Specialist, Product Data Analyst

Description: This role aligns to industry level titles such as Senior Product Analyst, Lead Product Analyst, Senior Data Analyst - Product, Product Analytics Lead.

Role Overview

The Product Data Analyst will use data to provide valuable insights on how to increase product adoption, user retention, engagement, and monetization. This role will be fundamental for our product development strategy. The Employee will work along with Data Engineers to collect and interpret large data sets, identify trends and develop data visualizations.

The Product Analyst will answer requests from business stakeholders but also explore on their own by performing A/B testing and investigating new opportunities to improve the user journey. They will communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people and drive critical business decisions.

Responsibilities

- Define, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable performance measurement and drive product enhancements.

- Design and build reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor product performance.

- Conduct trends and cohort analysis for user behavior, A/B testing to improve the user journey, and other types of analysis and experiments to identify potential areas of improvement and recommend changes based on data-driven insights.

- Provide valuable insights on how to increase product adoption rate, user retention, user engagement, and product monetization.

- Participate in product planning and strategy meetings, providing data-driven insights to guide decision making.

- Translate complex quantitative analysis and data into easily understandable results for all levels of the company.

- Work closely with data engineers to clean, refine, and analyze large datasets. Offer clear specifications for the Analytics team to collect and interpret large datasets, identify trends and develop data visualizations.

- Ensure data quality by collaborating with data engineers and implementing data validation practices.

- Stay current on industry trends and latest analytics technologies to continue improving data quality and insights.

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to influence product design and user experience based on insights.

- Champion a data-driven culture within the organization, advocating for the importance of data in decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Skills

- Degree (or equivalent) in Informatics, Economics, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience with data analysis, working with BI tools

- Strong knowledge of SQL and good knowledge of other tools for data analysis, like Excel, Python, PowerBI, and similar

- Proficiency with analyzing feature and usage metrics, A/B testing, conversion and retention, segmentation, and developing user archetypes and their usage patterns.

- Excellent attention to details and analytical skills

- Previous success with uncovering data insights to form hypotheses, designing product experiments, evaluating results, and making recommendations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities;

- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues;
