Advanced Specialist, Solutioning
Pearson EL&S seeks an experienced Event and Resource Scheduler (Advanced Specialist, Solutioning) with B2B IT training background to join our remote team. You'll collaborate with sales to support revenue and company growth, contribute to cross-functional projects, and manage operations. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Sales Operations. Candidates in their supported region are preferred; up to 15% travel may be required, but relocation is not provided

Key Responsibilities
  • Post-Sales Implementation: Handle customer training requests, deliver contract-based training, and manage tasks like registration, portal setup, and marketing configurations. Review invoices for accuracy and address billing issues with accounting according to procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain professional and courteous written and verbal interactions, following company policies.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong customer relationships through prompt responses to inquiries about orders, invoices, and shipments; share feedback with management and liaise between sales and clients on billing and credit matters, upholding Pearson EL&S standards.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated judgment in customer service, proficiency with phones and computers.
  • Effective multitasking in fast-paced settings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Copilot, Excel, Word); able to resolve minor technical issues independently.
  • Preferred: project management experience.
  • Team-oriented, customer-focused, resilient, patient, empathetic, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.

Essential Job Functions
  • Guide and train the sales team; provide customer support through analysis, development, implementation, and rollout.
  • Manage group and onsite client training.
  • Maintain Corporate Services procedural documentation and extranet portal updates.
  • Assist with Skilling Suite B2B training implementation.
  • Use registration system to support students and stakeholders with class selection and custom design.
  • Coordinate with client managers for class approvals.
  • Work with accounting/collections to meet goals and reduce bad debt.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven years in customer service, technical support, or related fields.
  • Able to multitask efficiently with computers and phones.
  • Independent, creative thinker under pressure.
  • Reliable, proactive, and strong judgment.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $55,000 to $70,000.
