We are looking for experienced technical trainers who have a passion for teaching and working with our dealers to support our Farmer First Strategy. This position provides an exciting opportunity to travel and provide on-site technical training to our dealers and farmers. The aftersales training specialist will play a crucial role in developing and delivering comprehensive training curriculum through various methods to effectively enhance understanding and retention.
Your Impact
- Identify technical training and development needs of dealer technicians by working cross-functionally within the Customer Support and Business Effectiveness organization. Review, design, and enhance technical training curriculum by working with SME’s, reviewing dealer survey feedback, and implementing professional course development and facilitation strategies.
- Create and curate all required curricula including but not limited to: Couse Descriptions, Learning Objectives, and Agenda, Instructors Guide, Classroom Presentation, Student Workbook, and Test/Answer Key.
- Develop and lead hands on learning through engaging lab exercises while observing and assessing theory and practical knowledge.
- Facilitate ILT and VILT classes focusing on how to safely, efficiently, and effectively diagnose and repair issues. Including but not limited to proper installation and programming of software, and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Manage the training schedule and course offering of assigned products to meet the needs of AGCO NPI process and AGCO Dealers. Follow all outlined Standard Operating Procedures to deliver consistent customer experience. Travel as required up to 60%.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Ag Education, Engineering, Technology, Ag Sciences) and 5 years of adult education experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of experience, education, or training.
- Basic knowledge and application (theory of operation) of Agriculture or Offroad equipment.
- Technical expertise related to diesel engines, powertrains, mechanical, electrical (12- or 24-volt DC) and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively. Must be a team player, punctual, professional, and reliable.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical information in clear, engaging, and professional manner. Experience in creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiences, utilizing various tools and techniques to enhance understanding and retention.
