Position Summary
Catapult Learning is seeking an Afterschool Math Tutor for a part-time role in St. Louis, MO. This role provides contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
- Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
- Communicate and conference with parents, providing information on student progress
- Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing using Company-designed materials
- Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans
- Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions
- Maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and federal agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Missouri teaching certification preferred
- FBI/BCI background check required; teaching experience preferred
