Job Summary | The AI Content Strategist specializes in web content and AI, developing and implementing strategies that optimize digital experiences and leverage AI for personalization and efficiency. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven insights to ensure content aligns with brand objectives and user needs and improves AI results through content structure and optimization. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | Writes clear, concise, and engaging copy for websites, applications, and conversational interfaces. Organizes and develops content to ensure clarity, accessibility, and usability across digital interfaces. Structures content for effective AI retrieval, tagging, and dynamic generation. Creates and implements content strategies that align with business objectives and UX goals, leveraging AI insights for personalization and optimization. Develops comprehensive style guides that define standards for tone, structure, visual appeal, and accessibility. Performs user research, content audits, and competitive analysis. Uses analytics to monitor engagement, identify content or experience gaps, and refine strategies for improving outcomes. Analyzes user interactions and AI adoption to inform ongoing optimization efforts. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including OIT, AI developers, graphic designers, and knowledge specialists, to ensure communication and AI projects align with organizational strategic goals. Stays current with OIT technologies and services to effectively integrate them into communication and AI initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Specific Duties: Develop and structure content -Write, organize, and structure content to ensure clarity, accessibility and usability for effective AI retrieval.Develop AI-driven content strategies -Create and implement content strategies and style guides that align with business objectives, leveraging AI insights.Conduct research and performance analysis -Perform user research and use analytics to inform ongoing optimization efforts.Collaboration and continuous improvement -Collaborate with cross-functional teams including OIT, AI developers, graphic designers and knowledge specialists to ensure projects align with strategic goals.
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Technical Writing, or a closely related technical or design field. Three (3) years of professional experience in digital content strategy, UX writing, technical documentation, or a content-related role focused on operational or digital environments, or seven (7) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Technical Writing, or a related technical or design discipline Five (5) years of experience in digital content strategy, UX writing, technical documentation, or AI-driven content roles
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Ability to develop operational content strategies, templates, and standards for digital platforms. Excellent writing and editing skills. Experience structuring content for effective AI retrieval, tagging, and dynamic generation. Ability to translate complex technical information into accessible messaging for various audiences. Expert research and analytical skills, including user research, content audits, and performance analysis. Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for digital content. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience developing and maintaining content style guides, templates, and operational standards. Background in enhancing customer experience (CX) and product experience through strategic, operational content initiatives. Knowledge of meta tagging and web/app optimization. Apply meaningful headings, semantic structure, and sensory characteristics to content. Experience creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Optimize content for web and application interfaces.
