Position Summary: 
Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Applicant Services Assistant to join the Graduate Enrollment Services team in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. This individual will act as a liaison to departments for general applicant file and credential information, maintain and manipulate applicant and credential databases, and act as the primary point of contact for organizing supporting materials and document imaging. Coordinate communications between GSAS, departments, applicants, and advisors. Prepare and disseminate print and electronic communications to applicants and newly admitted students. Additional responsibilities include: responding to general inquiries, providing information regarding policies and procedures, and status of applications; performing word processing, spreadsheet and data entry duties utilizing advanced level functions; and creating, maintaining and updating database files. Qualifications: 
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
3+ years of office experience. Experience providing a high level of customer service.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate to advanced word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Moderate to fast, accurate keyboarding. Good proofreading and writing skills.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Access and other databases. Additional Information: 
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $40.215. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
