Apprenticeship Specialist Full Description

The Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center (MAMC), formerly called RCBI, is accepting resumes for an Apprenticeship Specialist. The MAMC Apprenticeship Specialist is responsible for supporting program clients in obtaining training, industry-recognized certifications, apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities, and academic degrees that best align with their career goals.

The position is part of MAMC's Workforce Development Team and reports directly to the Apprenticeship Unit Director. The position will work primarily out of the South Charleston facilities with some travel required. As part of the MAMC Workforce Development Team, the team member will work closely with the team to plan, customize, and implement skills programs, apprenticeships, and pre-apprenticeships for individuals, schools, and businesses for in-demand training opportunities.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree is required.

Required Experience: Success and experience working in a high-performance, collaborative peer group environment; strong program management skills and the ability to manage complex, multifaceted projects. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and use of audiovisual equipment required. Ability to travel required.

Preferred: Past experience with apprenticeship or pre-apprenticeship programs. Experience with federal grants, Salesforce, or database systems is a plus. 3 years of experience in a team management role is preferred.

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000, commensurate with education and experience.
