Job Description
Fusion Academy is the school that changes everything! We are a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As an Art Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Our diverse team of lifelong learners shares a mission to personalize education for every student — academically, socially, and emotionally. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.
What You'll Do:
- Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.
- Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
- Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
- Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
- Keep student records accurate and organized.
- Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Art courses (Studio Art, Illustration, Painting, Portfolio Development, Graphic & Fashion Design, Drawing, Photography, Digital Media, Animation, Art History, and Electives), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

We're for a teacher with a variety of artistic abilities, willing and able to teach digital art, cooking, and painting, and other creative arts.
