Assessment and Evaluation Specialist Full Description

Job Summary
This position will support assessment and evaluation-related activities for the Salus at Drexel University PA Program. The Assessment and Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for supporting programmatic accreditation (i.e., ARC-PA) by providing support for program, course, and instructor evaluations for the PA Program. The Assessment and Evaluation Specialist will assist the PA Program in remaining compliant with the ARC-PA Standards through the timely deployment, collection, summarization, and provision of assessment data for Program faculty.

Essential Functions
  • Support PA Program faculty in the development of valid survey tools.
  • Build out all surveys using survey software (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics).
  • Work closely with PA Program staff to ensure the accuracy of PA student lists, courses, and instructors align appropriately with the intended survey tools.
  • Implement program, course, and instructor evaluations for the PA Program.
  • Correspond with PA Program faculty, staff, and students regarding evaluation completion as needed.
  • Collect and summarize the assessment results, providing all collated data to the appropriate PA Program faculty and/or staff member(s).
  • Ensure the quality of survey instruments, integrity of the data, and preserve respondent confidentiality.
  • Other duties as Assigned 

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree 
  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software systems, including Microsoft Office, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc.
  • Knowledge of research methodology to include qualitative and quantitative techniques, and familiarity with validity and reliability concepts in survey and evaluation design.
  • Ability to organize and manage data accurately.
  • Ability to handle sensitive student feedback ethically and securely.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and workflow management skills with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow structured processes with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior work experience with higher education faculty and/or academic leadership.
  • Ability to align evaluation tools with expected learning outcomes and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to provide consultative support on survey design and evaluation use.
  • Knowledge of ARC-PA Standards

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time per diem/casual position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
