Assistant Director, Academic Affairs Full Description

Position Summary: 
Under the leadership of the Director, the Assistant Director supports the operational, academic, and fiscal functions of the Graduate and Undergraduate Math for Engineering programs. The role partners with the Director and Chair to design and implement strategies that strengthen program delivery and enhance the student academic experience. The Assistant Director manages day to day administrative workflows, coordinates special projects, supervises staff, and oversees budget planning and tracking to ensure the department’s goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Required Experience:
3+ years of increasingly responsible professional level experience in advising and providing student services or administering and marketing programs or events, and supervising staff or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to plan, develop and implement programs, and develop marketing and retention strategies. Ability to problem solve and interact with individuals at all levels. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $90,000.00.
