Position Overview
This position supports the Associate Director in managing federal aid programs and responsible for daily operations to ensure program integrity. This role supervises financial aid counselors, leading by example to ensure they follow policies and procedures while maintaining high service standards. The Assistant Director coordinates the awarding, disbursement, and reconciliation of federal, state, and institutional aid, providing timely and accurate processing of student aid records.

In addition to advising students and families on financial aid eligibility, loan requirements, and special circumstances, this role applies policies and procedures to efficiently process student financial aid applications. The Assistant Director helps develop and maintain policies and procedures, ensures compliance with regulations, and presents financial aid information to various audiences. Collaborating with leadership, this role plays a key part in planning and evaluating office activities.
