I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
Job Description Summary:
The Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD) at the George Washington University (GW) offers certificate, masters, and doctoral degrees in a range of academic programs for general and special education teacher preparation, curriculum development, educational administration, counseling, and human and organizational learning. Our students emerge from our programs enriched in theory and practice and become agents of change across the learning lifespan.

We are seeking a motivated individual with advanced experience in admissions operations, CRMs, and enrollment management to temporarily join our Recruitment and Admissions team.
Responsibilities may include contacting prospective students, processing admissions applications, understanding eligibility criteria, preparing communications, generating reports and monitoring applications, advising students on registration, and reviewing and auditing application and enrollment data. The role will work with prospective students.

Specific responsibilities may include:
  • Call prospective applicants throughout all stages of the enrollment pipeline to encourage
  • Complete regular call and text campaigns for application deadlines and anti-melt efforts
  • Serve as liaison between prospective students and faculty program directors
  • Attend virtual and in person GSEHD recruitment events including regular information sessions

May perform other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning additional responsibilities that are logically related to the position.

This is a hybrid position with some days in-person on our main Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC campus and some days remote. May require participation at some in-person special events, including GSEHD Graduation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
