| Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The Office of Undergraduate admissions and Transfer Services is a centralized resource for students who are admitted to NCCU, and need information on academic associations, campus services, admissions requirements, course equivalences, networking opportunities, and integration into student life. The Office of Undergraduate admissions and Transfer Services advocates for all transfer students by coordinating a set of information with community college counselors, advisors, and academic staff. The office recruits, answers questions, and facilitates activities that are enhancing student learning and provides accessibility to resources. The Office of Undergraduate admissions and Transfer Services is committed to serving transfer students by helping them prepare for rewarding academic experiences, assisting them as they transition to NCCU, and promoting their progress toward graduation. |
| Primary Purpose of Position | The Assistant Director leads the Transfer Recruitment team with a primary focus on leveraging Enrollment Management Technology to optimize the student journey for freshman, transfer, and readmit populations. This role serves as the functional lead for recruitment systems, ensuring that data-driven insights and automated workflows power the university’s growth. |
