 | Department: A&F Business Services
 | Salary: 65,300 - 74,300
 | Description: Manages the daily financial, human resources/payroll and/or business operations for multiple complex business units within a Division. 1. Manages the activities of the department in establishing university auxiliary contracts, procurement operations, human resources and payroll operations, to ensure compliance with state and university guidelines. 2. Conducts research and financial analyses, prepares management reports for various directors, executive directors and vice presidents. 3. Supervises the work activities of staff responsible for the financial, human resources/payroll and business functions. 4. Develops plans to streamline account reconciliations, work order and billing functions, and construction accounting operations. 5. Oversees the development and monitoring of budgets and account reconciliations. 6. Oversees the development of Board of Regents and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board reports and agenda items. 7. Serves as the business administrator, representing business partners ensuring compliance with applicable university policies and procedures. 8. Assists in the development of policies and procedures. 9. Serves as the liaison for the department/division within the University community. 10. Performs other job-related duties as required.  MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
