The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for MBA Programs plays a pivotal role in shaping a diverse, highâcaliber cohort of future business leaders. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, relationship management, and dataâdriven enrollment execution, this position leads candidates through the full admissions lifecycleâfrom initial outreach through matriculation. The Assistant Director develops and refines recruitment strategies, builds meaningful connections with prospective students, and evaluates applicants with professionalism and sound judgment. This role thrives in a dynamic, metricsâdriven environment, combining analytical insight, polished communication, and highâtouch engagement to drive pipeline growth, strengthen yield, and uphold the academic and cultural standards of the MBA portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating recruitment strategies for a professional school.
- Attends recruitment functions and maintains contact with prospective students, candidates and recruiting contacts.
- May coordinate admission programs for one or more student group such as prospects, already accepted prospects, alumni, internationals, or transfers.
- Reviews applications for admission, provides comments, and assigns an admissions rating to each application.
- Recommends which applicants to accept, refer, reject, or put on the waiting list.
- May participate in coordinating alumni volunteer activities to enhance student recruitment.
- Assists in planning and implementing special student recruitment events.
- Conducts information sessions and tours for visiting students and parents.
- Answers questions concerning admission, housing, financial aid, academic departments and the university in general.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:
- Execute and continuously refine outreach strategies designed to expand and diversify the MBA candidate pipeline.
- Leverage CRM (Slate) to track engagement, segment audiences, and generate actionable insights.
- Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate applications across four MBA programs with discernment and sound judgment.
- Drive admitted-student conversion through high-touch, personalized engagement designed to increase yield.
- Own waitlist management strategy including candidate communication and performance tracking.
- Plan, execute, and assess yield initiatives including admit events, digital engagement, ambassador programs, and deposit campaigns.
- Deliver compelling presentations (virtual and in-person) to prospective and admitted candidates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Offices, Career Management, and Marketing to align messaging and enrollment goals.
- Review and enhance application materials annually to ensure clarity, equity, and evaluative rigor.
- Support cultivating a balanced, globally representative MBA cohorts.
- Contribute to digital, print, and social strategy aligned with enrollment targets.
- Represent the school at recruitment events domestically and internationally (travel required).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of college admission or recruiting experience in a university or business environment or related experience.
- A valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
- Effective public speaking skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in MBA or graduate business admissions within higher education.
- Proficiency in Slate or comparable CRM/and admissions systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence high-achieving professionals.
- Demonstrated success in customer engagement or relationship management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Public speaking experience and professional presence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Second language proficiency.
- MBA or Masterâs in Higher Education Administration or related field.
