K-State Athletics is hiring an Assistant Director of Social Media. This role involves managing day-to-day social media content, engaging fans during sporting events, providing live game coverage, and optimizing digital strategies to build the brand and enhance fan engagement.

Engage fans before, during, and after K-State Athletics events with live coverage.
Analyze content performance and optimize strategies based on data.
Oversee social media internship program, including training and scheduling.
Requirement of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, computer science, sport management, or related field.
Experience with content management systems and major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign.
Knowledge of NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations.
Compensation range is $47,500 to $54,000 annually with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
Position requires working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with occasional travel.
