Job Description

As part of the Revenue & Digital Innovation team, the Assistant Director / Revenue Strategy will manage revenue generating initiatives for Virginia Tech Athletics. This position oversees the implementation and management of digital platforms (email, web, mobile app, etc.) and contributes to digital marketing efforts for an assigned ticketed sport (Football, or Men's or Women's Basketball, or Baseball). Will collaborate with other team members and Athletics department staff in content creation, content distribution, and the measurement of digital campaign success. Will be expected to ensure all content aligns with the university's brand standards and organizational objectives while maintaining a focus on achieving measurable results. This position reports to the Associate Athletic Director / Revenue.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, sports management, or another comparable program with relevant experience, or a master's degree. 
Strong attention to detail, copywriting, and editing skills.
Experience developing marketing automation and digital advertising campaigns. 
Ability to meet deadlines, work outside normal working hours, including nights and weekends when required.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Eloqua, WMT, and Vozzi (or comparable platforms). 
Experience in a NCAA Division I college athletics department or professional sports organization.
