Job Description
The Assistant Manager, School Operations is part of the national operations team and provides support to our schools with an emphasis on operational functions in the student information and learning management systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Provide operational support to our schools to ensure team members have the necessary tools;
- Create training and tutorials for school-based systems;
- Subject matter expert to diagnosis and address problems with school based tools and resources;
- Ensure reports and data requests are provided within a timely manner;
- Work with staff to ensure school is in compliance with state requirements;
- Manage projects and programs to ensure milestones are achieved on time and to completion;
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, provide recommendations and support the implementation.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education or related field of study AND
- Three to five years of school operations experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience using search engines (internet) for research projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MS 365; Web proficiency.
- Ability to travel 5% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal project management experience in fast-paced or start-up environment
- Experience using PowerSchool or other student information systems
- Experience with managing online learning
