Description  | Reporting to the Associate Dean and Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, the Assistant/Associate Director works closely with the entire enrollment team and both current and prospective student populations. This role serves as a public representative of Hofstra Law School to key constituents nationwide and assists in managing the admissions process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinates reports for admissions, the Hofstra University community, and external accreditation agencies. Manages all electronic correspondence with prospective and current students regarding admissions. Attends information and educational programs related to admissions. Serves as a liaison between the law school and campus offices, including Information Technology, Development, Student Accounts, Student Employment, and Residential Life, on admissions-related matters. Manages the law school’s social media networks, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Evaluates admission files for an applicant pool of over 2,500 candidates. Recruits transfer, international LL.M., and J.D. students. Attends seasonal evening and weekend events as required. Travels domestically and occasionally internationally for recruitment and admissions events. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of four years of admissions experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrates energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to motivate students and staff. Works effectively with culturally and ethnically diverse populations, demonstrating sensitivity to underrepresented communities.
Preferred Qualifications  | Juris Doctor degree preferred. Proficiency in Ellucian Banner.

Salary/Salary Range  | $70,000 - $85,000

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
