Advertised Job Summary  | Associate Professor of Educational Leadership – School of Education

The School of Education at the University of South Carolina Aiken (USC Aiken) invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track Associate Professor of Educational Leadership, with an expected start date of August 16, 2026. The preferred candidate will have previous experience coordinating graduate education programs; experience in program development, recruitment, or assessment; familiarity with CAEP or state accreditation processes; administrative experience in P-12 education; and state certification or licensure in Educational Leadership (or eligibility). Main Responsibilities include coordinating the M.Ed. in Educator Leadership (curriculum, assessment, scheduling, and student advising); teaching graduate-level Educational Leadership courses; mentoring graduate students and supervising applied research projects; contributing to CAEP accreditation and continuous improvement efforts; maintaining an active research agenda; collaborating with local P-12 districts and state education agencies; participating in recruitment and alumni engagement; and providing service to the university and profession. Main responsibilities will be on the Aiken Campus, and instruction may be delivered in face-to-face, online, and hybrid modalities. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
