Associate Curriculum Designer, Print & Instruction Full Description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an experienced, passionate educator to join our team as an Associate Curriculum Designer and help shape our exceptional K–8 content. 

As an Associate Curriculum Designer for the Print & Instruction team, you’ll coordinate the creation of high-quality graphic design for a series of K–8 multi-subject workbooks, reviewing designs for visual style, effectiveness, and accuracy. Your organizational skills, visual eye, attention to detail, educational insight, and commitment to quality will make personalized learning a reality for millions of students. #LI-SR1

This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC area office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Coordinate the creation of high-quality print materials for multi-subject IXL workbooks
  • Review print designs for accuracy, visual appeal, and overall effectiveness
  • Coordinate the development of fun activities and bonus content, ensuring content is effective, well written, fun, accurate, and age appropriate
  • Collaborate with other curriculum designers to ensure high-quality content

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Bachelor's in Education, English, Math, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Experience with elementary and/or middle school instruction or curriculum development
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interest or experience in graphic design is a plus
